Twitter was on fire after the 9th Episode of 1883. I’ll share a few of the responses that I felt especially close to my reaction as I watched. I am looking forward to the finale of this first season while at the same time highly anticipating the news of the release of Season 2.

According Katie Bowlby of Country Living website:

More episodes are on the way!

Will 1883 returning for a season 2?

Paramount+ confirmed on February 15 that more episodes are indeed on the way. It’s unclear how many new episodes will be shot and if they will consider it a full season, but rest assured that the story isn’t ending yet.

When Will More Episodes Air?

Nothing has been confirmed by Paramount+, but according to The Wall Street Journal, new episodes could air as early as this fall. Stay tuned!

These are some pretty awesome announcements as the Yellowstone spin-off has seen increased numbers of viewers.

Episode 9 saw Elsa, basically the narrator for Season 1 take what looks to be a fatal shot to her abdomen. A lot of fans were left in shock as she comes to the realization that she does not have long to live based upon the reactions of her parents. One can only imagine if she will be able to survive. As a fan, I’m hopeful and I’m quite sure when Episode 10 hits Sunday, we’ll either be elated, disappointed or hanging on until Season 2 starts.

So, what are some reactions from the Twitterverse?

What will happen as 1883 comes to a Sunday finale? The weekend is looking very exciting, and even more now that we know there are more episodes and stories to tell!
