A message has been sent from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. On the same day that it was confirmed the state will take over governance of Disney World’s special district, the governor empowered an up-and-coming Disney critic.

I don’t normally do this on a Friday evening. It’s sort of the time we call the “news graveyard.” Yet news broke today that is easy to miss unless you are very much in tune with what is going on in Florida between the conservative governor and The Walt Disney Company. So if you would indulge me, I’ve elected to do a Twitter exclusive video that explains the significance of the day and I think you’ll really enjoy it. And if you’re wondering why I just don’t type it all out here for you to read in normal article format, let’s just say that sometimes it pays to be very careful with the algorithms of various companies.
So, it’s a little bit spicy, it goes a little bit more into politics than I’m usually comfortable doing. But it’s also necessary to fully explain the situation between DeSantis and Disney. I hope you enjoy.
