Agencies Drop Jonathan Majors as Marvel Remains Stuck About What to Do

Jonathan Majors is in trouble. He’s being dropped by agencies, yet Marvel thus far is standing by the accused star. Still, this isn’t the first time Majors has been in trouble with the law.

Marvel is sticking by their man. They may be the last ones with him soon as various groups are deciding it is time to part ways with the actor behind Kang the Conqueror, himself scheduled to appear in the upcoming Loki series on Disney+ this year. It could get very awkward if it turns out the allegations against him have some validity.

Talent manager Entertainment 360 has dropped Jonathan Majors, several sources tell us. The recent move by Majors’ longtime manager comes three weeks after the Magazine Dreams star was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City.

Majors has already shot the second season of Marvel/Disney+’s Loki, in which he reprises his uber-villain role of Kang the Conqueror, and won’t go before the cameras in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty for quite some time. Deadline hears there’s been zero conversations in the Marvel camp to drop Majors from the MCU.

Jonathan Majors is a rising star in Hollywood who has been making waves with his acting skills and dynamic on-screen presence. While the news of Majors’ arrest was certainly concerning, it did not seem to have a major impact on his career.  Despite the arrest, Marvel Studios has indicated through their inaction that Majors’ role in the upcoming MCU projects would not be affected so far.

This news came as a relief to many fans who were worried that Majors’ arrest could potentially jeopardize his involvement with the MCU. The actor has become a fan favorite since his debut in the post-credits scene of “Loki”, and his performance in the role has been widely praised. However, this apparently isn’t the first time the actor has been accused of aggressive behavior.

It is important to note that Majors’ arrest should not be taken lightly. At the same time, all of this is messy and difficult to cover. None of these allegations have been proven true. Majors should be considered innocent until proven guilty. Yet one of the worst crimes a man can commit is harming a woman — and there are apparently physical signs documented that she was harmed. That is alleged to include strangulation marks which are exceedingly difficult to produce by someone wishing to fabricate an assault.

At this point, whether it was Jussie Smollett, Amber Heard, Alex Murdaugh or the accuser of Justin Roiland, we’ve all seen that the truth is sometimes elusive and unexpected. People both do things that are hard to fathom, as well as lie about things in a way that is hard to fathom.

Whatever the case is here, we’ll keep following it and attempt to parse out the truth as best we can. There are no winners in this sort of a situation.

They treat him better than Johnny Depp.

Disney has given up any sense of morality in their movies. Gay characters, trans characters, race baiting, pushing all this on children. They have embraced sinfulness.

Why would they have a problem keeping a woman-beater in a leading role? If anybody does stop watching over this, Disney will just say the audience is toxically racist and deflect.

I wish they would drop Disney from their name. Walt was a good man who didn’t deserve to have his legacy tarnished by the activists who have seized control of his company.
