What do you do when you’ve destroyed your most popular attraction and even your employees might say it?

Disney Parks recently sent out a survey of cast members to have them select their favorite ride, existing or gone. But they left out the attraction which has been voted the most popular attraction in any park in the entire world:

Splash Mountain.

Here’s the cast member survey screenshots sent to us by a source. Note that we have hidden the answers on some of the screenshots to protect identities:

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Disney doesn’t want a ride it destroyed for perceived “racial issues” on a list of survey options. After all, the company almost certainly knows how popular Splash Mountain was, not only with cast members, but also with the general public.

Although it no longer exists, a new study says Splash Mountain is still Disney World’s most popular ride.

New research conducted by Disney travel planning experts MagicGuides reveals the most popular Disney rides at the theme park, with the ghost of Splash Mountain taking first place.

MagicGuides compiled data for every ride from all four theme parks at Disney— Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — to determine the winners. Three key factors were taken into account: Instagram hashtags, Tripadvisor ratings and average monthly search volume.

This gets even worse when you realize that they’re using this for data collection yet seemingly falsifying the data by removing the most obvious choice. Even better, Splash Mountain still exists in Tokyo Disney! One might wonder if the cast members in Tokyo’s Magic Kingdom could vote for the zip-a-dee-doo-dah attraction.

They know they’ve destroyed a very popular ride and they know they need to hide it. It’s so bad that cast members are mocking management for clearly trying to block the truth, manipulate the narrative.
