With great sadness, it must be reported that SNL alum and comedian-extraordinaire, Norm McDonald, has passed away. Friend Lori Jo Hoekstra was reportedly by his side as he succumbed to a nine year battle with cancer. McDonald was only 61 years old.
McDonald was said to have been very proud of his comedic work, and so as a salute, That Park Place provides this video of one of his most beloved characters on Saturday Night Live.
Here’s to Norm, Alex, and Burt… three stars lost far too soon, no matter their age.
Thanks for the laughter, Norm. He will be missed.
