Nico Vacca, from Argentina, has found himself in a little bit of hot water with Mickey Mouse. The international tourist entered a restricted area of Cinderella Castle after he alleges a door was left open. The door has a restricted notice, but would have been difficult to see if not closed.
Vacca was seen outside of the restaurant windows, atop a balcony not typically made available to guests. He said he wanted to go up for a photo opportunity. Disney security was called and met up with Vacca later in the day. As a result of his escapade, Vacca was forbidden from reentering Disney Parks for 3-6 months.
Video of the incident was captured by Princess Shannon, an Instagram / Tik Tok personality.
@pincessshannon someone’s in trouble…😳😳😳 #disneyworld #magickingdom
Walt Disney World has a history of “explorers” venturing off the beaten path into restricted or cast-only areas. Compared to recent events in which individuals gained access to Discovery Island or the Yeti in Expedition Everest, this is a mild situation. Perhaps Vacca will be back in Disney World again in the future, only this time in the place he’s supposed to visit.
