Disney Parks has released the first video footage of “Disney Enchantment”, a fireworks show that incorporate depth-perception projection onto Main Street USA building facades. This marks the first time Main Street will be featured in the augmented reality projections at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. The fireworks show is a new feature coming to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. A pre-pandemic nighttime parade was reportedly scrapped secretly, but the fireworks made it through to completion.
Disney Enchantment comes on the heels of Disney having hired a fireworks show designer full time, as well as having updated their pyro launch site north of Magic Kingdom. This show will be the first to fully utilize the upgrades.
