The Genie+ app is now on at The Walt Disney World Resort. The app allows guests to use the previously free FastPass system, not renamed as Lightning Lanes. For $15 per guest per day, visitors can have Lightning Lane access to bypass standby lines throughout their day. However, the most popular attractions are not included and must be purchased separately. These attractions include such rides as Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, Rise of the Resistance, and more.

Anecdotally, our observation has been that Lightning Lanes are not yet being used heavily by guests. It is way too soon to predict the future, but so far today has seen very light usage of the service.
