According to the c0-CEO of Netflix, movie theaters are going the way of the Dodo bird.

At the TIME100 Summit, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos made a headline-grabbing statement: "We're saving Hollywood."

Netflix is where IPs go to die. They are not saving anything.

True. It hurts to count how many amazing IPs their hacks utterly ruined. They are the killers of creativity.

Wow! I haven’t heard something this braindead and tone deaf since Mike Ybarra last tweeted something. Streaming is what’s *killing* Hollywoke. Streaming new releases instead of releasing them in theaters absolutely destroyed profit margins on movies. Even worsening the losses on flops because now there was even less money coming in from a lack of ticket sales.

The theater experience has gotten so bad over the years, but in no way do I consider Netflix any better.
