Despite the conflict ongoing in Europe, Disneyland Paris knows the show must go on. So it is that the theme park resort is testing out its new nighttime drones which will be used as part of the Disney D-Light fireworks and effects evening spectacular. One guest at a Disneyland Paris hotel was able to capture video of the rehearsals taking place. Though Disney Parks have used drones before, this will be the first time they are part of a recurring fireworks show.

Though these drones are technically part of a “pre-show”, they’re still being employed as a segment of a larger package. Personally, I think there’s a bit more that Disney could do with them, but this opens the door to more effects in the future I’m sure.
