Reported by WDWNT, it seems that Disney World’s internal calendars have been adjusted to reveal that Blizzard Beach will remain closed until at least May. Officially, this is being listed as prolonged refurbishment. However, it is also at least plausible that this may be a cost-cutting measure by keeping only one water park in operation. With Typhoon Lagoon likely able to handle guest demand through the end of the spring season, that might be a theory worth believing.
WDWNT Reports on Blizzard Beach Staying Closed
The great news is that the Disney World water parks continue to be tremendous value in comparison to the rising costs for many of the other parks and services found around the Resort. They’re especially tempting if Florida residents are interested in purchasing an annual pass given the value there. You can check All Ears‘ rundown of the water park pass prices to see what might best fit your time and budget.
