When Paramount Skydance announced its sweeping five-day-a-week return-to-office mandate last week, the memo didn’t just signal the end of hybrid work. For many employees, it was the loudest warning yet that Paramount layoffs are coming — and soon.

The company is already targeting $2 billion in cost savings after its $8.4 billion merger closed in August.
