Celebrities take a lot of heat. It’s almost always deserved. Who can forget the beginning of the pandemic when Gal Gadot did that horrific rendition of “Imagine”? There’s basically no worse timing to sing a song that suggests there’s no heaven than the beginning of a pandemic when people’s loved ones are dying. That gets a special award for stupidity.
The story today is not one of those types of reports. Instead, all we can do is give huge kudos to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Together, the two have raised more than $15 million dollars, a large portion of which is their own giving. The money is going to help Ukrainian refugees: women and children separated from their families and homes who have done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve what they’re going through. So… all we can do is applaud people like Kutcher and Kunis. The world needs more action just like this, so maybe this is just the start of a lot of kindness.
