PHOTOS: Main Street, U.S.A. Train Station Refurbishment Complete at Walt Disney World

The refurbishment of the Main Street, USA train station at Magic Kingdom concluded in September 2025, following a nine-month project that began earlier in the year. This renovation was part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve park infrastructure, ensuring safety and enhancing the guest experience without altering the station’s historic aesthetic.

During the refurbishment, various sections of the station were closed to guests. Construction walls and scrims surrounded the upper and lower levels, restricting access to key areas such as the central staircase and parts of the upper balcony. These restrictions temporarily changed the flow of foot traffic for visitors entering and exiting the park.
