The Cake Bake Shop, located at Disney’s BoardWalk, will host a holiday dining event called Dinner With Santa on select evenings during the 2025 season. According to the announcement, the event will run on November 18th, November 25th, December 2nd, and December 9th.
Pricing, Payment, and Reservation Procedures
Tickets are priced at $200 per adult and $150 per child (ages 12 and younger). These amounts exclude tax and a mandatory gratuity of 24%, which will be added at the time of payment. Full payment is required upon confirmation of the reservation. The policy states that payment is non‑refundable and non‑transferable.

Guests must request reservations via a form on The Cake Bake Shop’s website; there is no option to book through OpenTable or Disney’s regular dining reservation systems. Gift cards cannot be used for this experience. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Because the event is in high demand, all dates are already described as “waitlist only.”
What the Experience Includes
The three‑course dinner begins with holiday cocktails, sparkling beverages, and hors d’oeuvres: sliced meats and cheese for adults and grilled cheese bites for children. Afterward, guests choose an entrée and conclude with a seasonal dessert from The Cake Bake Shop’s menu.
Adult entrée options include roasted chicken, beef bourguignon, or roasted leek pasta. The children’s menu offers three options, each served with pommes frites: homemade chicken tenders, cavatappi & cheese, or cheeseburger sliders.

Adults are permitted up to three beverages (alcoholic or nonalcoholic) under the ticket price; additional drinks can be purchased.
Each family also receives a professional family photo with Santa Claus (via Disney PhotoPass) which is available as a digital download. In addition, guests will take home a Bubbles the Bear cookie kit—a handmade sugar cookie plus ingredients for decorating at home.
Context and Relevant Considerations
Although The Cake Bake Shop operates on Disney property, it is not owned by Disney. Because of this, reservations must go through the restaurant’s independent system.
The event’s relatively high price has drawn commentary. Some observers compare its cost to other character dining or holiday offerings at Disney.

The Cake Bake Shop already attracted notice earlier for its price structure. Shortly after its 2024 opening, critics flagged cake slices priced at $22 or more. The restaurant later adjusted certain menu prices in response to guest feedback.
Given the event runs only four evenings, space is limited and demand is high. The waitlist status for all dates underscores the rarity.
