Walt Disney World Resort’s list of restaurants participating in the 2026 Disney Dining Plan shows notable changes compared with the prior year, with dozens of eateries currently not listed as accepting prepaid dining credits on Disney’s official filters.

The Disney Dining Plan allows guests staying in eligible vacation packages to prepay for meals and redeem credits at participating restaurants throughout the theme parks, Disney Springs, and resort hotels. For 2026, Disney’s online dining plan filters indicate that more than 30 restaurants previously listed as participating are not currently included.

According to compiled comparisons of the 2025 and 2026 dining plan lists, 35 restaurants that appeared on last year’s plan are missing from the current 2026 filters. Many of these locations are operated by third-party companies rather than Disney itself. Third-party restaurants must negotiate separate agreements to participate in the dining plan each year.

Which Restaurants are Missing

The restaurants not shown as participating span multiple areas of Walt Disney World. Several restaurants in both EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are unlisted.

Things to Consider

Walt Disney World has not stated that these restaurants have been permanently removed from the dining plan. Reporting on prior years suggests that some third-party locations often disappear from early dining plan listings and later reappear once contract negotiations are finalized. As a result, the current list may not represent the final lineup for the full 2026 calendar year.

In addition to outright removals, several restaurants that remain on the dining plan have changed how credits are accepted. Some table-service locations now limit dining plan use to specific meal periods. In these cases, credits may be valid only for lunch or only for dinner, depending on the restaurant. These changes further narrow dining options for guests relying on the plan.

There are also a small number of additions for 2026. A few quick-service locations that did not participate in the dining plan in 2025 now appear on the updated list. These additions, however, do not offset the overall reduction in available dining locations.

Disney-owned restaurants and most character dining experiences largely remain part of the dining plan. Because these venues are operated directly by Disney, they do not rely on outside contract negotiations and are typically confirmed earlier in the planning process.

For guests planning trips in early 2026, the current dining plan changes may affect advance dining reservations and overall trip budgeting. Reservations made at restaurants not currently listed as participating may not accept dining plan credits unless those restaurants are added back to the plan before the visit. Guests using the dining plan may need to review restaurant eligibility carefully as their travel dates approach.
