The Lime Garage at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is closed for a planned maintenance and refurbishment project that began on January 12, 2026. The closure will last through March 13, 2026, with a brief reopening period in mid-February. This will be its first extended closure.
Lime Garage is planned to be closed for two months, with a short reopening for the President’s Day holiday peak. The garage’s refurbishment is scheduled in two phases. It will remain fully closed from January 12 through February 11, 2026. The structure will then reopen for a short period from February 12 through February 16, 2026, for the Presidents’ Day holiday weekend. After that window, the Lime Garage will close again from February 17 through March 13, 2026.

It’s expected to resume normal operations beginning March 14, 2026.
Officials said the closure is part of structural repair work on the five-level parking structure. According to planning information released ahead of the work, the project focuses on structural maintenance and repairs throughout the garage. The work is intended to address the long-term integrity and safety of the facility, although the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District and Walt Disney World have not publicly detailed the full scope.
Planning A Disney Springs Stop
The Lime Garage typically provides more than 2,000 parking spaces near the Town Center portion of Disney Springs. With this facility offline for much of the maintenance period, parking capacity at the shopping, dining, and entertainment complex is reduced.
Alternative parking options remain available while the Lime Garage is closed. The Orange Garage, Grapefruit Garage, Watermelon Parking Lot, and Strawberry Parking Lot are open for visitors’ use, with free parking in effect at all locations. Disney’s My Disney Experience app provides real-time updates on parking availability, and digital signage on Buena Vista Drive also reflects current garage status.

The temporary closure of the Lime Garage has implications for traffic flow around Disney Springs. With one large parking structure unavailable, other facilities are expected to fill more quickly, particularly during high-traffic periods. Peak hours include evenings, weekends, or holidays. Plan to arrive early to try to beat the traffic and allow extra time to find parking.
Additionally, visitors may opt to use rideshare services or Disney’s complimentary bus transportation from resort hotels to reach Disney Springs rather than drive and search for a parking spot. Bus service is available to resort guests and drops off visitors near key entry points at Disney Springs.

Through the refurbishment period, Disney Springs continues to operate with other parking facilities open. Real-time parking information and detailed directions remain available through official channels to assist guests in planning their visits.
