Independent journalist, Christopher Rufo, has leaked more videos from the Reimagine Tomorrow listening session that the Walt Disney Company held virtually in response to the Florida legislation. In this latest leak, a Disney executive affirms that The Walt Disney Company is offering assistance and monetary benefits for employees whose children are participating in sex change therapies. That is specifically to say that Disney will give monetary benefits to parents and guardians of children who have their bodies altered, often irreversibly, with actions such as mastectomies, castrations, etc. These acts on children are often illegal in many parts of the United States and the world. It is a rather new concern as historically children have not been a possible target of non-physical health-related medical procedures to alter their genitals or other anatomical features in western nations outside of male circumcision. The alterations Disney would monetarily support alter the child’s present and future sexual functions, so this is categorically different.
