The brand-new Disney cruise ship, Wish, is now in open waters and preparing for its first voyages.
After a devastating couple of pandemic years, many worried that the cruise ship industry would never return. Despite the colossal investments by parent companies, a long-running pandemic could have sidelined the buoyant cities too long for the owners to hold out. However, as there is at least a lull in the pandemic (crossing fingers that there is no variant or other reason for the world to hunker down again), it seems life is being breathed back into the vacation strategy of snorkels, tropical destinations, and endless sushi buffets. Let us introduce you to the newest cruise-liner, this one from The Walt Disney Company:
