In case you needed a reminder why fans are supporting the Sonic the Hedgehog creators and actors so much, Tails’ voice actress Colleen O’Shaughnessey is here to make it clear. Some of the folks behind this movie are just downright good. And even if you take issue with some of the actors, there’s no denying that overall the joy you see on children’s faces as they pretend to be Sonic characters is just too sweet! Here’s to the little boy at my theater who slid on a slick floor pretending to run as fast as Sonic… then popped right back up and kept on running.
But nothing is quite so cute as what Mrs. O’Shaughnessey has to tell about her experience on opening night:
In the lobby after seeing #SonicMovie2 opening night, I see 2 little boys decked out in all things Sonic.
Me: Did you guys like the movie?
Kid: Yeah!
Me: I’m Tails
Kid: I’m Sonic
Me: No, I’m really Tails
Kid: I’m Really Sonic. Wanna see how fast I can go?
