Walt Disney World’s premium Lightning Lane Premier Pass sold out for a full week at Magic Kingdom and saw sell-outs at other parks on key dates.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is a paid add-on that allows guests one-time access to every Lightning Lane attraction in a single park on a selected day. Availability is limited, and pricing varies by park and date based on expected attendance.
Selling Out at Magic Kingdom
Premier Pass at Magic Kingdom sold out for seven consecutive days, February 12-18. This coincides with the peak travel period between Valentine’s Day and President’s Day. On those dates, the listed price reached as high as $449 per person before the pass became unavailable.

Selling out of passes for an extended period means families and groups may need to plan well in advance. At a per-person cost of nearly $450, a family of four would spend close to $1,800 solely for this premium access option in addition to regular park admissions, which typically range from about $150 to $200 per day for standard entry. Despite the high cost, the available inventory was depleted day after day during that stretch.
Once a date is sold out in the My Disney Experience mobile app, prospective buyers will see the option greyed out and cannot select it for purchase. Sell-outs occur when the resort sells its allotted pass inventory for that day at a given park.
Other Parks
Sell-outs of the Premier Pass are not limited to Magic Kingdom.

- EPCOT: February 14 and 16
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: February 13, 14, and 15
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: No current sold out dates at the moment.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass
The purchase window for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass differs based on guest circumstances. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and select partner properties can buy the pass up to seven days before their visit, whereas all other guests have a three-day advance purchasing window.
This structure sometimes results in inventory selling out before general-admission guests become eligible to purchase.

The continued sell-outs of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass reflect ongoing demand for premium line-skipping options, particularly during peak periods when regular wait times tend to be longer. Some guests have complained that the system favors guests from higher income families. This is understandable given the pass itself can sometimes is sometimes double the price of an admission ticket. Still, many guests enjoy the service, as seen from the sell-outs this week.
