If you’re heading to Dollywood this summer for a great vacation destination, you probably won’t be surprised that there’s plenty of tourism surrounding it. One such nearby option is a retail and attractions venue called The Island. Featuring stores, restaurants, hotels, and even rides, it’s an excellent locale for an afternoon. Mornings aren’t as recommended since your dining possibilities may be limited.
I recommend the Pepper Palace, Puzzled, and the Smoky Mountain Ferris Wheel as places you should definitely see while there!
So if you’re in the Pigeon Forge area, make sure to keep The Islands on your list of places to maybe visit. Just stay away from the ghost pepper salsa samples unless you’re really a chili head!
