The Mandalorian and Grogu Burger King Meal Options - Burger King

The Mandalorian and Grogu Burger King promotion brings a new collaboration between The Walt Disney Company and Burger King.

The limited time menu will begin on “Star Wars Day,” or May the Fourth, a recurring marketing moment for the franchise. The partnership supports the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu, scheduled for theatrical release in May 22, 2026.

Mandalorian and Grogu Burger King Promotion Menu Details Remain Limited

Burger King has officially outlined the lineup, which features four themed food and beverage items, plus bundled meal options and collectibles.

The core menu begins with the BBQ Bounty Whopper, a flame-grilled beef burger topped with Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a smoky “Bounty BBQ Sauce.” It is served in packaging styled like a bounty hunter helmet. The sandwich is also offered as part of combo meals included in the promotion.

Another menu item is Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries, which builds on Burger King’s standard Chicken Fries. The product is seasoned with garlic and parmesan flavoring and comes with a garlic dipping sauce. Packaging features Grogu branding tied to the promotion.

The side item is Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots, consisting of crispy potato tots seasoned with cheddar and ranch flavoring. The presentation uses Imperial-themed branding to align with the film’s factional imagery.

Guests can finish off their meal with Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake, a vanilla soft-serve milkshake blended with blue cookie crumbles and blue-colored syrup.

Burger King is also offering a Bounty Bundle, which includes all four featured menu items packaged together as a limited-time set. Select combo meals and bundle purchases include four collectible cups tied to the promotion. A King Jr. Meal version is part of the rollout and includes standard kids’ meal options paired with a themed toy.

McDonald’s Not Part of Current Promotion

The upcoming Star Wars movie promotion has drawn attention due to Disney’s long-standing relationship with McDonald’s. McDonald’s has frequently participated in past Disney-related marketing campaigns, especially those involving children’s meal toys.

At this time, there is no confirmed U.S. McDonald’s promotion connected to The Mandalorian and Grogu. Available information does not indicate a formal replacement or shift in long-term partnerships. Instead, the Burger King collaboration appears to be a separate marketing agreement.

Film Release

The Mandalorian and Grogu is scheduled to release in theaters on May 22, 2026. The film continues the storyline introduced in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Jon Favreau remains involved in the project.

The Mandalorian and Grogu follows Din Djarin and Grogu after the fall of the Galactic Empire as the New Republic works to secure control of the galaxy. The two are recruited for a mission tied to remaining Imperial warlords operating in the Outer Rim. Their journey brings them into contact with New Republic leadership and other factions navigating the post-Empire political landscape.

Conclusion

The promotion is scheduled to launch on May 4, 2026, aligning with “Star Wars Day,” and will run for a limited time at participating locations in the United States ahead of the film’s theatrical release on May 22, 2026.  Availability will vary by location, and the promotion is expected to remain in place only while supplies last.
