Netflix has confirmed a global live tour for the animated music franchise KPop Demon Hunters. The company announced the concert series during its 2026 Upfront presentation with AEG Presents. Current plans call for performances in about 150 cities during 2027. The announcement immediately drew attention because Netflix has not confirmed the performers behind the fictional groups Huntrix and the Saja Boys.
Netflix also launched an official website for the KPop Demon Hunters live events where fans can join a wait-list for more information. The company said details about ticket sales, venues, and tour dates will arrive later this year.
The upcoming concerts follow the strong performance of the film and soundtrack. KPop Demon Hunters became one of Netflix’s largest animated releases after debuting in June 2025. The movie later won Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Golden.”
Still, the KPop Demon Hunters concert tour faces several unanswered questions before tickets go on sale.
Netflix Has Not Confirmed the Original Vocalists
One of the biggest issues surrounding the KPop Demon Hunters live tour involves the soundtrack performers. Netflix has not announced whether the original singers for Huntrix or the Saja Boys will appear on stage.
The film used separate actors and singers for several characters. Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo voiced Huntrix members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, while EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami provided the singing performances connected to those characters.

The Saja Boys also relied on multiple artists for their soundtrack vocals. Andrew Choi, Kevin Woo, Neckwav, Danny Chung, and samUIL Lee contributed to the musical performances tied to the fictional group.
Netflix has not stated whether any of those artists signed agreements for the global concert schedule.
Recent Performances Increased Public Interest
Several vocalists linked to the soundtrack have already appeared at high-profile events.
EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami performed “Golden” during the 98th Academy Awards ceremony earlier this year. The singers also joined KATSEYE for a performance at Coachella 2026.

Those appearances increased speculation about who could participate in the KPop Demon Hunters concert tour.
Questions Remain About the Live Production
Netflix has also shared limited information about the concert format itself.
The company described the project as “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.”
However, Netflix has not clarified whether the production will use full live vocals, alternate performers, animated backdrops, or hybrid staging methods. That distinction could affect audience expectations for the KPop Demon Hunters concerts.

The soundtrack became a major part of the franchise’s success after release. Songs tied to Huntrix and the Saja Boys generated strong streaming numbers and expanded the property beyond animation.
Large-scale productions built around fictional music groups often face scheduling issues. Several singers connected to the soundtrack maintain separate music careers and outside commitments. Coordinating a worldwide performance schedule with multiple artists may prove difficult during a long touring cycle.
Netflix Continues Expanding the Franchise
The KPop Demon Hunters concert tour represents another major expansion for the property. Netflix confirmed a sequel film earlier this year in March. Directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are expected to return for the follow-up project.
The company has also expanded the franchise through sing-along screenings, merchandise initiatives, and live promotional events.

For now, the global tour remains in an early stage of development. Netflix confirmed the large-scale rollout, but many details remain unresolved.
The biggest question still centers on the performers. Until Netflix releases a confirmed lineup, audiences will not know whether the original vocalists behind Huntrix and the Saja Boys plan to participate in the KPop Demon Hunters concert tour.
