There have been plenty of videos and photos taken from inside Disney World’s Space Mountain with the lights on. However, there are three modes for the lights: show lights, work lights and full lights. In the case of a new 4K video released by 4K WDW on YouTube, we get to see Space Mountain with all the lights fully on. This means you can see all sorts of details you haven’t seen before unless you’ve been in Space Mountain during maintenance and/or pre-opening.
Some of the things you might notice are missing ceiling panels, some grime, yellow paint used by construction crews which is never painted over, and even the TTA tunnel colors that are always masked by the darkness. It’s a super-cool look at what goes on inside one of Disney World’s most popular attractions. Can you imagine what people would think if the outer building was gone and the Space Mountain track could be seen in the daylight? We’re betting it wouldn’t be so alluring!
