According to video from Stop Antisemitism on Instagram, there were a small number of individuals flying a Nazi flag, or flags, at one of the gates to Walt Disney World. From the video it appears to be the one at Disney Springs. While the account says that they were screaming through a megaphone, we can’t verify that… though they have a megaphone and we all know what megaphones are for.

Some are responding to this and reporting on this as if there are actual Nazis at the gates of Walt Disney World. We’re not going to do that because we’re going to be responsible in our reporting. We don’t know who these individuals are or what their motivation might be. Could they be neo-nazis? Yes. Could they be nutty lefties trying to do a false flag operation that portrays Florida badly? Yes. Could they be idiot teenagers trying to do the worst-conceived senior prank ever? Yes. Could they be protesters claiming Disney is somehow like Nazism? Yes.
Without an interview, identities, links to an organization, or anything else, there’s just no way to say who these people are or why they’re stupidly flying a Nazi flag. News organizations and blogs doing so are not acting ethically. What we can say with ease is that anyone who flies such a flag without a very clear explanation as to why Adolf Hitler and World War II Germany were utterly reprehensible… well, they’re not the sort of person who has a working moral compass. So whether these people actually believe in Nazism or are trying to manipulate the news and a narrative, they’re complete and utter idiots in our estimation. Whoever they are, we hope they were removed by security and stepping in a giant pile of dog poo on their way out.
Don’t be like those idiots today. Be kind and truthful.
