Disney has revealed details about a new Miss Fritter animatronic coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The character will appear in Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along, one of two Cars attractions planned for a new area called Piston Peak National Park.
Disney announced the attraction during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August 2026. The announcement included details about the large Audio-Animatronics bus and the setting planned for the new attraction.
Disney Miss Fritter Animatronic Will Anchor New Attraction
Disney says the new Miss Fritter animatronic will be a large, school-bus-sized Audio-Animatronics figure. The character will serve as the central figure in Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along.
Miss Fritter first appeared in Pixar’s Cars 3. In the film, she’s a school bus who calls herself the “Diva of Demolition.”

The attraction remains under construction as part of the larger Piston Peak project. Disney has not announced a specific opening date for Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along.
A Second Cars Ride Is Also Planned
Miss Fritter’s attraction is one of two Cars rides planned for Piston Peak. The second attraction, Cars: Ridge Run Rally, will focus on off-road racing.
Disney says Cars: Ridge Run Rally will take riders through mountain trails and areas featuring snow and geysers. The course will include a bumpy, downhill section before reaching a finish near the Old Tankfull geyser.
Lightning McQueen and Mater will appear near the finish and provide commentary during the race, according to Disney.

The attraction will also use a new ride vehicle. Disney says the vehicle will have tires and suspension designed to respond to the terrain.
The two attractions will use different concepts within the same Cars-themed area. Ridge Run Rally will focus on mountain racing, while Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along will center on a demolition derby.
Piston Peak Will Transform Part of Frontierland
Piston Peak National Park will occupy a section of Frontierland that previously included the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island.
Disney announced the broader Cars expansion in 2024. The company said the project would create a new area with two attractions while changing the western portion of Magic Kingdom.
The planned setting will feature mountains, waterfalls, rivers and geysers. Disney says the environment draws inspiration from the Rocky Mountains, national parks and the history of the American frontier.

The area will also include a visitor lodge, Ranger HQ and trails. Disney has described the architectural approach as “Parkitecture,” a style associated with structures designed to fit into natural park environments.
Disney has positioned Piston Peak as a continuation of the American settings found throughout Liberty Square and Frontierland. That approach gives the Cars characters a setting that differs from Radiator Springs in California.
What Disney Has Confirmed
Disney has confirmed the name of the attraction, its location and its central character. Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along will be located in Piston Peak National Park at Magic Kingdom.
The company has also confirmed that the attraction will feature a large Audio-Animatronics Miss Fritter and use a demolition derby concept.
Disney has not announced an opening date or provided a complete description of the ride system. Those details remain unavailable as construction continues.
