Walt Disney Imagineering has updated the Germany Train Garden at EPCOT with new miniature buildings, figures, landscaping, and scenes.

The garden sits in a flowerbed beside the Germany Pavilion in World Showcase. It features a miniature railway that runs through a small German village. Recent photographs from Imagineering show several changes across the display.

The updates include refreshed buildings and new structures inspired by the full-size Germany Pavilion. A large building in the town square has been replaced with a miniature clock tower and archways based on the entrance to Biergarten. The square also includes a smaller version of the pavilion’s fountain.

Imagineering also recreated the gazebo located near the Germany Pavilion. The miniature version sits toward the front of the village. Several other buildings have received new paint or replacement structures.

A Construction Scene Joins the Display

One new scene depicts a miniature construction site beside the train tracks.

The area includes tiny excavators, construction equipment, workers, scaffolding, and green construction walls. Signs on the walls read, “Please Pardon Our Pixie Dust.”

The construction scene reflects the work taking place within the miniature village. It also adds a self-referential joke to the walls that often appear around the Parks during construction.

Snow White’s Cottage Appears

The most substantial new addition may be a miniature cottage based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the 1937 animated film.

The cottage has a yellow roof and stands beside a forested area. A creek runs through the scene and continues toward a small pond. A miniature Huntsman figure appears farther up the landscape, while deer stand among the trees.

The scene also includes a mine entrance and a small cart containing colored gems. Additional figures and details reference locations and characters from the film. The Evil Queen appears in her old-hag disguise, while a rocky area represents the location associated with her fall.

These additions bring the German fairytale into a display otherwise centered on the German village and its railway.

Dreamfinder Joins the Miniature Village

A separate detail connects the updated garden with EPCOT history. A miniature Dreamfinder figure appears among the new elements. The figure references the character from Journey Into Imagination.

The timing is notable because Disney recently announced plans to bring Dreamfinder and Figment back to EPCOT in a reimagined Journey Into Imagination.

A Reference to DINOSAUR

The updated garden also includes a reference to DINOSAUR, the former attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

A miniature Dr. Grant Seeker figure appears near the train tracks, dressed in a white lab coat and carrying a dinosaur egg. The scene also includes workers and crates, including one containing what appears to be a dinosaur head.

The reference follows the closure of DINOSAUR earlier this year. Disney confirmed that February 1, 2026, was the attraction’s final operating day. DinoLand U.S.A. then permanently closed on February 2.

What Has Changed

The latest work gives the EPCOT Germany Train Garden several distinct new scenes. The additions include architecture based on the Germany Pavilion, a miniature construction zone, a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs setting, Dreamfinder, and a reference to DINOSAUR.

The pavilion-inspired additions also make the miniature village resemble its real-world surroundings more closely. The clock tower, Biergarten-inspired archways, fountain, and gazebo all reference features found at the Germany Pavilion.
