In just two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, we’ve already had TWO chase scenes involving a young Princess Leia runnning from adult men with outstanding success. Despite her clearly slow gate, this is one princess who knows how to evade. As a result of the two chase scenes which are interestingly choreographed, the folks behind the Nerdrotic Twitter account have put together a compilation of the chases with comical music to liven up the fun. Honestly, if it’s not yet trending, it should be. And even though our reviews of the two episodes so far have been on the fence — and yes we are having some fun at Kenobi’s expense — the truth is we’re pulling for the series to be great. Let ‘s just hope that Deborah Chow and the team behind Obi-Wan Kenobi have been as daft at creating a series as young Princess Leia is at escaping grown ups in pursuit!

Somehow, just seeing the post title, I knew it was gonna be “Yakkity Sax”.
For anyone unaware, that’s the name of the song used, more commonly known as the Benny Hill chase theme.
Bad writing is how you get silly chase sequences like this. Not sure how much they are spending on this “Obi Wan” show but, you would think they would put a significant portion towards writing.
No way is Disney hitting their subscriber goals with content like this.
I absolutely agree. Although I liked Episode 1, Episode 2 was really bad. Why are they botching their Disney+ series so quickly. The inconsistency is so consistent.
The parody’s not that funny or clever. Obi-Wan and Leia are much more entertaining as they are. I don’t get the Episode 2 hate other than people pointing out that Reva looks like she killed the Grand Inquisitor. Maul suffered far worse and yet he survived.
