We’ve been waiting ages for Disney World to finally announce their rumored escape rooms in development. Instead, it’s Universal Studios Orlando that leads the way with a big announcement!
Coming soon, Universal Studios Orlando is bringing escape rooms themed around some of your favorite former attractions. We’d be shocked if a Halloween version wasn’t also in development but not yet announced. Is a Harry Potter escape on the way as well?

This definitely puts universal studios in a dominant position over Disney.. The rumored plans for Disney World escape rooms were not quite as dependent on established intellectual property franchises, which could mean that the version’s going to universal would be more popular for local tourists. It’s hard to imagine S.E.A. being as remarkable as Back to the Future.
So get your best “Great Scott” ready – mysteries will be solved at Universal Studios very soon!
