When entertainment companies release education material that is factual and not married to modern political theories or ideologies, we need to recognize their efforts.
The Walt Disney Company through the Disney Channel has released an educational Juneteenth video intended to teach young people, and maybe some adults, about the process of emancipating slaves after the American Civil War. The accuracy of the video seems to be really good and that’s a great thing for all involved. Check it out and celebrate with us the continuing process of embracing freedom for all. For without freedom, one can’t freely choose responsibilities, and without freely sought responsibilities one can’t find deep meaning in electing the sacrifices that make each day worth living.
