There’s something magical about fireworks above the ocean. In the case of the Disney Wish, plenty of combining elements really make them lovely.
The good folks of Theme Park Express have been bobbing about the sea for back-to-back trips aboard the Disney Wish: Disney’s newest cruise ship. And though there have been some concerns about the ship, specifically with issues surrounding Guest Services and the lack of a full announcement about propulsion testing, it seems most guests are having a really good time. We’re still not convinced you should be making a reservation just yet (maybe give it a few months for them to work out the kinks). But there’s no denying that it is beginning to live up to the hype.
So when we saw the video from TPE of the fireworks going off above the LED-lighted waterslide on the main deck, we knew we just had to cover it in an article. It looks absolutely spectacular. Now of course these are not fireworks you’re going to see at the parks — those are much larger because 1) it’s dangerous to carry huge shells on a cruise ship and 2) the fireworks at sea are close enough you don’t really need massive shells. On the plus side, that also means there’s less chance of babies crying and seniors getting grumpy because their teeth are rattling.
