It has been a long-time coming but it seems that finally, The Walt Disney Company is going to exit politics and ideology. CEO Bob Chapek has something to say.

It is being reported by Hollywood screenwriter and scooper, Kamran Pasha, that the Walt Disney Company CEO, Bob Chapek, spoke with Kareem Daniel (Chairperson of Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution) at El Capitan in front of an audience on Thursday. At the gathering, Bob Chapek declared for the first time publicly that The Walt Disney Company will exit politics and ideology going forward. This seems to corroborate reports from this website that Chapek and the Board of Directors plan to alter company policy in the next twelve months.
The Walt Disney Company CEO, Bob Chapek, and Chairman of Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, Kareem Daniel have been together in France over the past week according to sources and photographic evidence. Daniel is often seen as a “Chapek guy” from those who study the Disney Company and sources for this website say that Chapek and Daniel have been meeting away from Burbank about the future of Disney’s entertainment slate. Specifically, I am told that Chapek and Daniel have been privately setting forth a plan for how to manage the various studios and their content which is difficult to censor but also decidedly harmful to Disney’s bottom line.

So what did Bob Chapek have to say at the public gathering on Thursday? According to Mr. Pasha on his Patreon (click his name above to go to the website), Mr. Chapek had the following to say:
“When people come to a Disney park they don’t walk in with their political views on their sleeves. People don’t come to Disney to get political points of view, either from the left or the right. Disney is a source of positivity in the world, no matter your sex, race, or politics. That’s a core focus for me.”
…
“You know the mainstream media will tell you that you can’t do that job, but I never listen to them.”
— Bob Chapek, Walt Disney Company CEO

It is understandable why some have said that Disney will never moderate and that the company will just keep pushing farther and farther into leftism, socialism, tribalism and segregation. As much as I can see that point of view and I know where it’s coming from, I do believe that important signs point towards Chapek and the Board reversing course. This is perhaps the strongest indicator yet. It’s a big deal.
This is a breaking story. As more sources and more information come forward, we’ll continue to cover this topic. WDW Pro will appear later today with Kamran Pasha and Valliant Renegade on a livestream to discuss. Make sure to check out Valliant Renegade on YouTube to tune in.

YAAAAY! The woke agenda is going to end! WHEE!
How by content only featuring straight white males ?
What I mean is, the political and ideological agenda is going to end. Better?
I hope it comes true. I never wanted politics on this company especially with Star Wars and Marvel; two companies that along with Nintendo and Ed Edd Eddy, saved my childhood and life growing up.
Moderation at Disney will always favor Center Left unless Disney instituted a policy that any Left point of view must include Right point of view. They can start with
The View where it’s 3 Hard Leftists and 1 Moderate Right and they couldn’t even keep McCain there.
Center left cause majority of people are center left.
I’m a center-lefter (fiscally liberal, culturally traditional). And I find absolutely no representation on ABC in particular, or network broadcast news/shows in general.
Even Spanish-language Univision ignores us. Ever since Jorge Ramos (lead anchor on Univision Network News) said that it was his responsibility as a “journalist” not to report objectively, but to ensure that DJT not be elected (then re-elected), I stopped tuning in.
According to the latest scientific polls, DJT would draw about 50% of the Hispanic vote in 2024.
And Univision Network News is telling us that we’re wrong!!!
Then, the brain trust at Univision (and the PE firms that owned/own significant percentage of shares) wonder why Hispanics have stopped watching that network
Where did you pull the statistics showing that the majority of people are “Center-left?”
Even Tulsi, the embodiment of the center-left, is considered too “radical” for ABC!!!!
the Overton window has been dragged so far towards the extreme right that classic conservatism is now center left
So do u know what socialism cause i dont see how disney is promoting it ?
the existence of gay people is neither political or ideological
They’ve got until Disney+ Day this November when my 3-year pre-paid subscription ends to put their money where their mouth is.
I’m in the same spot.
Yup, thinking the same thing here. Leaving it as a non-renewal until I see REAL change in direction. Not just talk and rumors.
He can say whatever he wants to appease whoever he wants to appease, but until something is actually done, I’m not going to get my hopes up. Love what he’s saying, but I’ve heard it before.
Ms. Marvel was a good, family friendly, non-Woke show. Did you watch it?
Disney was created for clean family entertainment. This perversion is unacceptable and not Walt’s vision. Bob Chapek move at light speed and make it a family friendly place again. Don’t delay.
Indeed! I hope this wokeness tones down next year.
Let the Disney year long recovery……….BEGIN!?
Well~! It’s about damned time.
You can all be cynical all you want, but I think Bob Chapek is doing the right thing. It may takes some time, so let’s just see what happens next year.
