Days after announcing a redo for the Country Bear Jamboree, a real bear has shown up at the Magic Kingdom, shutting down half the park. Perhaps he was just there to audition?
You love to see and hear about signs that wildlife is doing well in places like Central Florida. One thing that might change your calculus though is if said sign also happens to shut down half a theme park. As of now, reports that a real bear is in the park have resulted in the following attractions being shut down:
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Hall of Presidents
- Haunted Mansion
- Jungle Cruise
- Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Swiss Family Tree House
- Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid
- Walt Disney World Railroad
- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
According to Brayden of Mickey Views, the bear was discovered originally on Tom Saywer Island by a cast member who found the bear in a cave. Wildlife has seen a resurgence all over Florida as the state has taken great steps for preserving important wildlife corridors. This has been somewhat hampered by tremendous solar panel installations that have destroyed vast tracts of prior wilderness. However, we can’t recall any time in the past that a bear has actually been inside the Magic Kingdom. It’s impressive considering the number of fences the guy or gal must have cleared. The other option is the bear may have made its way through the water canals into the Rivers of America.
According our source, a BEAR was found this morning inside Magic Kingdom Park. Want to know how this discovery was made? A cast member walked the caves in Tom Sawyer's Island and there it was. CAN YOU IMAGINE? 😳 https://t.co/oD1IhqMyiX
