Fortnite is preparing to release new Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker skins inspired by the animated style of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. These skins are distinct from the live-action versions of the characters already in Fortnite, which reflect their appearances in the prequel films and The Mandalorian.
The new skins and accessories drop May 1, at 8 p.m. ET. The Clone Wars items will come just in time for National Star Wars Day, May the Fourth.

So far, we know that Anakin and Ahsoka will both receive a skin, pickaxe, and backbling, based off the animated style of the popular show.
Differences From Live-Action Skins
Both Anakin and Ahsoka are already represented in Fortnite with live-action skins. These were part of Chapter 4 Season 2 and were released on May 2, 2023

The upcoming Clone Wars-style skins will provide a separate aesthetic that emphasizes the animated series’ art style. This approach allows players to choose between the live-action cinematic look and the stylized animated version for their in-game characters.
Star Wars Content in Fortnite
Fortnite has a long history of integrating Star Wars content through skins, challenges, and limited-time events. The collaboration between Epic Games and Lucasfilm began in 2019 and has continued with multiple character releases.
The earliest Star Wars skins included Rey and Kylo Ren, released alongside Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Shortly after, Fortnite added Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, providing fans with classic characters from the original trilogy. These releases were also paired with cosmetic items, such as lightsaber pickaxes or blasters, and often included themed challenges.

In 2020, Fortnite expanded the Star Wars roster with Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and Boba Fett, introducing additional cosmetic bundles and limited-time modes.
More recently, in 2021, Fortnite added The Mandalorian and Grogu as part of Chapter 3’s content.
Conclusion
The upcoming Fortnite Ahsoka and Anakin skins will offer players a new way to experience Star Wars characters in the game. These animated Clone Wars-style versions complement the existing live-action skins, expanding the options available for in-game customization. Official confirmation from Epic Games is expected in the coming weeks.
