An alleged leaker from Japan says that the unofficially named Switch 2, will receive two RPGs from a high profile developer and make their Nintendo debut.

Nintendo Switch 2 rumors are the buzz of the industry, it seems we can’t go a day without an alleged leak from an unverified source. However, a leaker taking to X with a well established track record, may have big news regarding Nintendo’s next big console odyssey.
According to the leaker, Metaphor: ReFantaztio and Persona 3 Reload are coming to Nintendo Switch.

This was stated in a reply to an X post from user Meovvcat regarding an AtomixVG interview. In the interview, it was said that Atlus was not bringing Persona 3 Reload to the Switch from the very beginning. A very strange decision with the sales figures of the Switch.
The leaker shared that this decision was made because the game is instead being planned for the Nintendo’s Switch successor. This would make sense as Atlus and Nintendo have had a strong history in recent years. Many of the popular Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games have seen a release on the Nintendo Switch since 2021 after Atlus snuffed Nintendo from their, at the time, newest game Persona 5 back in 2018, despite the star of the game “Joker” landing a place in the roster of Nintendo’s biggest release that year, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
The person going by the MbKKssTNhz5 name on X seems to have some sort of connection to Atlus’s plans, so there is reason to believe this could be true.

The leaker, like most, understandably though, hasn’t had a 100% accuracy rate. The leaker claimed back in June of 2023 that the highly anticipated Persona 6 would be announced in said year.
There have been no announcements, but release dates can fluctuate based on the market and development needs, however entire games and their existence is something that can be floating around in secret for years, just waiting for a source to pick up on it.

Persona 3 Reload is set to release worldwide on February 2, 2024 and if there is a version for Nintendo’s next system, this might be a sign that there is big Nintendo news on the horizon.
