Seems like there’s no incentive for Baldoni to find a resolution to these claims. If Lively isn’t allowed to present evidence of emotional damage Baldoni’s lawyers can say all the other claims are supported with the same quality of evidence! Sexual Harassment and Retaliation are serious charges and, even with the stench of #metoo still floating over the 1st world, will require more evidence than “she said.”

In this particular case, “he said” gets the benefit of the doubt without better evidence than what we’ve seen so far.

I would bet everything on this, she expected sleaze ball to withdraw after observing how he was respected to the point of eye rolling (learned it from the text messages that were posted.)
She thought that one push and this feminist will fall on his knees and agree to everything she demanded.
It looks like he is a much better pretender than she is a reader of men.
