You don’t build gigantic construction infrastructure unless you plan on doing something on a rather large scale.
Some say there’s a new attraction coming. Others project that the crane is there to carry out heavy lifting for refurbishments, plus a new inner tube conveyer belt. Whatever the crane is there for, it’s big. You do not build a crane of this size with the sort of reinforcement and padding that has been put in place unless you are prepared to use it for something large. So what is changing at Blizzard Beach? While there’s been no confirmation as of yet in regards to what might be installed, the good news is that we’ll likely know very soon given the propensity of BioReconstruct to take aerial photos of the Orlando area.
Just take a look at the massive size of the crane and even the removal of forest to put it into place!
Aerial look at a crane moved to a staging area at Blizzard Beach. Nearby is a recently added concrete pad for the crane. Seems like the crane will be reaching deep into the park for the next phase of refurbishment. pic.twitter.com/zAtm5bHwoj

Those are absolutely fantastic views into what is going on at Blizzard Beach — a park that may be closed for longer than many originally anticipated. Thankfully, Typhoon Lagoon remains open at Walt Disney World, providing fun in the water for families wanting a Disney water park option. As soon as we have confirmation of everything that is going on at Blizzard Beach, you know we’ll be bringing it to you as fast as our fingers can type.
As always, thanks for reading and making sure to keep coming back to That Park Place… where the news is fun and fun is the news. Drop a comment down below and let us know your thoughts. Don’t forget to follow BioReconstruct on Twitter for more great images like these today!
