In the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the social media platform BlueSky has become a disturbing showcase of deranged political rhetoric. Instead of mourning or condemning the violence, many users are celebrating Kirk’s death—and going further by demanding that other figures within the conservative spectrum be targeted next. The combination of BlueSky and Charlie Kirk has revealed a horrifying trend: online mobs openly fantasizing about assassinations with no accountability.
Celebration of Violence
Screenshots collected from BlueSky show wave after wave of users laughing about Kirk’s killing and immediately asking, “Who’s next?” One user described Kirk’s death as “the best birthday present ever.” Another said they were “glad his [expletive] got packed up.”
URGENT. FYI.
After Charlie Kirk, on the sky app there are people asking for the next person to be targeted. These include JK Rowling, Matt Walsh, Trump, Ben Shapiro, Libs of TikTok, Elon Musk, and Andy Ngo.

From there, the posts escalated into open incitement. Among the repeated calls:
- “Can someone shoot Ben Shapiro next?”
- “Do Matt Walsh next.”
- “Trump next please.”
- “J.K. Rowling next ???”
- “I hope they do Joe Rogan next.”
These aren’t isolated one-offs. They represent a flood of comments across multiple accounts, all united in cheering violence against anyone considered conservative, right-leaning, or in Rowling’s case, critical of gender ideology.
BlueSky’s Role in Normalizing Extremism
BlueSky has marketed itself as the “freer” alternative to X. But the reality, as shown here, is that it has devolved into a platform where violent fantasies are mainstream.
This isn’t free debate. It’s open incitement, and it comes in the immediate aftermath of a political killing. Allowing users to treat assassination as a meme isn’t “community dialogue.” It’s dangerous, destabilizing, and sets the stage for more bloodshed.

To its credit, BlueSky has begun striking down some accounts in the wake of this tragedy—including that of now former DC Comics writer Gretchen Felker-Martin, who mocked Charlie Kirk’s death and dismissed police officers as “not people.” Yet for many observers, this enforcement feels like too little, too late. The platform has permitted this kind of rhetoric to fester for months, and only after Kirk’s assassination did it take any meaningful action.
These Bluesky Charlie Kirk reactions demonstrate that the platform is failing to police even the most extreme calls for violence. What does it say about a company’s leadership when they allow users to openly demand that Donald Trump, Ben Shapiro, Elon Musk, or J.K. Rowling be murdered—and only step in once the world is watching?
Not Just Conservatives: Rowling’s Inclusion
J.K. Rowling is not a conservative political figure, yet her name appears repeatedly among BlueSky calls for violence. The only reason she is included is her outspoken defense of women’s rights and her criticism of radical gender politics.

This shows how ideological hatred has spread so far that even a left-leaning author like Rowling can be grouped alongside conservative figures simply for dissenting from progressive orthodoxy. BlueSky users don’t care about nuance; they want anyone who doesn’t toe the line erased—literally.
Chilling Echoes in a Polarized Nation
What’s happening on BlueSky after Charlie Kirk’s death should alarm every American, regardless of political stance. When mobs celebrate a political assassination and immediately demand more, it is not just tasteless—it’s destabilizing for the nation.

Democracy cannot survive if violence becomes an acceptable substitute for debate. Yet these users are openly cheering the death of a political activist and creating wish lists of who they hope is targeted next.
History has shown that rhetoric like this doesn’t stay online. It bleeds into real life, where unhinged individuals take cues from what they see as cultural permission to act.
Final Thoughts
The assassination of Charlie Kirk should have been a moment for reflection and unity against political violence. Instead, BlueSky has exposed itself as a platform where violent fantasies are normalized, conservatives are dehumanized, and killing is treated like comedy.
Whether it’s Donald Trump, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, or J.K. Rowling, no one should ever be targeted for murder because of their politics or beliefs.

The fact that Bluesky users have openly mocked the Charlie Kirk tragedy in this grotesque online spectacle is proof that something has gone deeply wrong in our culture. The celebration of violence must be condemned, not cheered. If platforms like BlueSky refuse to take responsibility, then society at large will have to reckon with the consequences of letting hate metastasize unchecked.
How do you feel about BlueSky users celebrating the killing of Charlie Kirk and making a wish list of future victims? Sound off in the comments and let us know!

I have a feeling X would look the same way if/when a significant political figure on the left were assassinated. The difference is that the right is far less prone to political violence these days so we don’t have much material with which to test the reaction from the right.
Just to add, the “Right” never was violent. The National SOCIALISTS of Germany were socialists, for example. Then Stalin etc. Often the Legacy Media calls the “Left” “far-right” when it suits its narrative.
The party of inclusion and tolerance, everyone.
And if this is what they do to moderates like Charlie Kirk, what will they do to you if given power?
Hunt these animals down already!
I do believe there is now a website called charliesmurderers.com that is expressly ratting out all the degenerates. Much like Libs for tok tik.
More left wing fascism on BlueCry. Fortunately BlueSky didn’t take off, the (left wing) fascists went back to Twitter.
Too bad there are still enough prominent crazies over on BlueSky that we can’t just keep an eye on Twitter any more. If the news doesn’t watch BlueSky they’ll lose out on a LOT of material.
