Breaking News: Cosmic Rewind Coaster Blueprints Leak

Somebody is probably in trouble for this one. As in, somebody’s in big trouble with Disney.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the new roller coaster being build in Epcot at Walt Disney World. According to estimates by WDW Pro, an author here at That Park Place, Cosmic Rewind is likely to be the most expensive attraction ever built in theme park history. While Disney has held details of the ride very close to the vest (only one video from a small interior scene has been made public), the entire attraction has essentially (allegedly) been leaked by Devon Seery. Ouch.

Here’s the image for the original Universe of Energy building that is still in tact:

The second image shows the blueprints for the roller coaster building.

A final image lays out the roller coaster track design inside the building.

Given that the portfolio these originally appeared in is now gone… it’s likely these were not intended to be made public. The ride is expected to debut in 2023, and filming is currently taking place for the live actor segments of the ride.
