Brie Larson Dragged for Arrogant Shirley Temple Comparison

Captain Marvel star, Brie Larson, has had a rough go of it when it comes to her celebrity image. She’s attempted and essentially failed at a YouTube channel to connect with fans, and is now giving it another try. She’s been a divisive lady for Marvel. After some time of rehabilitating efforts, she’s back in the news for a silly reason that builds up her reputation as being overly narcissistic.

From Cosmic Book News:

On Sunday, Brie Larson tweeted an image of herself as a young child with curly hair next to a present-day photo where she seemed to insinuate that she’s better than Shirley Temple–Temple who was given an Oscar at the age of seven for Bright Eyes where she is known for singing “On the Good Ship Lollipop” which sold over 500k copies of sheet music at the time.

“Shirley Temple could never,” Larson posted on Twitter, which has backfired and caused a lot of backlash from fans.

In response, there’s been one tweet that triumphs over all others…

The hiccup in self-importance has led to plenty of coverage on YouTube and the like. It’s probably not idea for Marvel to have an actress generating videos like what we see with Yellow Flash. Is all news good news?

My guess is that Brie Larson takes another break from YouTube, maybe from social media. At least, Marvel and Disney likely wish she would. A social media publicist / manager just might be in order. Or, again, is she outsmarting all of us in that people are talking about Brie Larson? Maybe that’s the entire goal after all.
