British actor Oliver Thorn, who is reportedly part of a British psy-op campaign that was funded by King Charles before he ascended to the throne, confirmed his involvement in The Acolyte.
As reported by Fandom Pulse, Thorn, who is a man and pretends to be a woman using the name Abigail Thorn confirmed his involvement in The Acolyte writing on X, “Finally allowed to say this – I’m in STAR WARS! The Acolyte is coming this June. I’ll say more when the show drops. May the Force be with you!”
Thorn added in a subsequent post, “now that the Star Wars news is out I can finally set the record straight – I’m not the first trans woman in it, Morgana Ignis was! Who just so happens to be my bestie AND my costar in our upcoming film, Dracula’s Ex-Girlfriend!”
It was reported back in June 2023 by The Direct that Thorn would play a character named Ensign Eurus with their report citing a United Agents listing. The report declared, “According to [his] agency United Agents, British [actor Oliver] Thorn is due to play Ensign Eurus in The Acolyte, making [his] Star Wars’ first-ever transgender actor in a non-minor role.”
As seen below, the listing detailed that Thorn was part of The Acolyte and was playing Ensign Eurus.

It’s been reported by Kit Klarenberg and Max Blumenthal at The Grayzone that Thorn was part of a social media manipulation campaign run by an organization called Valent Projects that received funding from the United Kingdom’s The Royal Institution. The top patron for The Royal Institution was King Charles before he became king.
According to documents that Klarenberg and Blumenthal obtained from Valent Projects the organization planned to “design a ‘mass appeal social media campaign fronted and owned by prominent social media figure Abigail Thorn.” This campaign was called Challenging Pseudoscience and was aimed at skeptics of the regime’s COVID-19 policies. The campaign specifically planned to leverage Thorn “to achieve a measurable cognitive shift in the target audience.”
Thorn’s involvement in the campaign appeared to be as a guest at the company’s launch event in February 2021. He appeared in a panel discussion that also featured Marianna Spring and Zania Stamtaki. It was hosted by Anjana Ahuja.
The Grayzone also speculated that Thorn’s public YouTube videos titled “Ignorance & Censorship” and “Who’s afraid of the experts?” are part of the Valent psy-op program.
