We’ve known for a while now that Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is returning in time for Christmas. Slated for December 19th, we now also know that cast member previews are planned for December 16 and December 17. That curiously leaves open the December 18th date, making many wonder if Disney is planning to run a soft opening on that date for limited audiences.
The outdoor stage show is held within a huge amphitheater. Having it return to Hollywood Studios is a big deal for the park as it is capable of holding a huge number of guests, thus easing the burdens of other shows and attractions. The show will be modified in its return, with guest participation on stage removed, and likely some other social distancing actions taken. There has been no announcement in regards to whether or not actors on stage will wear masks. It might look a little odd to see Indy wearing one, and Frozen actors just a hop away aren’t wearing them, but who knows?
