Disney’s Animal Kingdom is preparing a Bluey experience scheduled for summer 2026. The Heeler family will be at Conservation Station within Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Recent casting calls and permit filings offer fresh details about the structure, staffing, and timeline for the project.
The casting notice, posted on Disney’s official auditions site, seeks “high energy actors” to serve as hosts who will lead interactive games and activities based on Bluey content. Performers are expected to engage with groups of guests, guide children through play-based experiences, and be comfortable improvising during live interactions.

Based on the casting posting, the experience will not follow a typical stage show format. Instead, the emphasis will be on guided interaction where hosts lead guests through a series of activities inspired by both Bluey games and animal themes.

Beginning in Summer 2026 at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll be able to take a fun excursion to Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo! Play some of your favorite games from Bluey episodes with a fun animal twist, like butterfly keepy uppy.
Grab the whole family and snap some pictures alongside your Blue Heeler pals to remember this one-of-a-kind adventure. Plus, as part of your wild excursion, step outside to discover an experience with animals native to Bluey’s home country of Australia!

Casting deadlines provide a clearer picture of the production timeline. Actors must submit applications by January 23, 2026. In-person callbacks are tentatively scheduled for February 27, 2026. The casting call also indicates that rehearsals will begin in early May 2026, signaling progression toward an operational event in this summer.
Preparing the Space
A permit filed in early January 2026 shows that Disney Live Entertainment hired an electrical contractor to complete infrastructure work at Conservation Station. The scope of work includes installing a transformer, a disconnect, and new electrical panels to support the upcoming experience. With this, on-site preparation is underway.

Guests visiting Conservation Station can take the Wildlife Express Train. The station houses Animal Kingdom’s veterinary treatment center, animal nutrition facilities, and several educational exhibits. Locating the Bluey experience in this area places it within the park’s educational setting and uses a location that has traditionally drawn fewer visitors.
Disney previously confirmed that Bluey and Bingo will be introduced to Disney parks and cruise line experiences in 2026, including this addition at Animal Kingdom. Disney has not announced a specific opening date.
Bluey’s Popularity
It’s no surprise to see Bluey and Bingo come to the parks. The franchise, though not created by Disney’s studios, is one of its most popular shows.
According to Nielsen’s 2024 annual streaming rankings, Bluey was the most-streamed show across all platforms (not just Disney+) in the United States. It logged roughly 55.6 billion minutes viewed, outpacing other top programs like Grey’s Anatomy and Family Guy.

At present, Disney has confirmed only that the Bluey experience will begin in summer 2026 at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom.
