There is plenty of good news in this world today. Babies are being born, people are doing kind things for others. But there is sadness too, and losing Louie Anderson is one of those bits of sorrow. This follows on our reporting of his hospitalization yesterday.
Anderson has passed away from cancer at 68. In yesterday’s article by Manu Lopez, he had this to say:
After a string of deaths from famous comedians over the past few weeks, we want to make sure that Louie knows we’re all pulling for him and wishing him well! Anderson has been in a huge number of films, shows, and even a self-titled cartoon.
Perhaps that was a prescient move to talk about how great Louie Anderson was while he was still with us. The full article and details of the hospitalization can be found here:
Goodbye and Godspeed, Louie.
