Companies Boycott Elon Musk’s Twitter as It Threatens to Change EVERYTHING Online

Twitter’s change in ownership could upturn the apple cart all elite control of western society relies upon. Entertainment and its coverage could be changed forever.

Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter has promise of being one of the most revolutionary actions since the creation of the printing press. You think I’m being hyperbolic… think again.

The promise of the world wide web was immense. The idea that everyone in the public could suddenly have more information on their smartphone than President Bill Clinton had in the nineties was revolutionary. For anyone who wasn’t around before the web took off, let’s just say those giant buildings called “libraries” once had a purpose. Now they’re largely obsolete compared to what their original intent was meant to be. That’s how it works when the service you provided is now in everyone’s pocket or purse.

But free information and democratizing free speech at scale wasn’t convenient for the elites of our world. They began to lose control of the narratives that largely kept them in control. The promise of soon-coming abundance at a level never before seen drove the internet to become ubiquitous in everyday life. The promise that it would upend the upper echelons of society also meant that it had to be controlled. While I could go deep into all aspects of how this occurred, let’s keep it within the parameters of this website’s coverage. Here are just a few examples of how free discourse and information was curtailed within entertainment:

  1. Once it was determined that accurate reviews could be a detriment to revenues for movies and shows, sites like Rotten Tomatoes were “captured” by corporate interests which “curated” the review mechanisms so that the public could no longer trust the outcomes.
  2. As YouTube discovered that small disseminators of opinion and commentary could quickly become bigger in their basements than legacy corporations, a few changes were made that shifted the game in favor of the big guys. Companies like CNN and Fox News have zero chance of being hit with a channel strike. Meanwhile, independent journalists and commentators can easily be wiped out by false flag operations. Similarly, advertising plans meant that the elites earned elite money while entertainment companies with single-digit contributors earned far less money off their YouTube efforts. There were breakthroughs for sure but that doesn’t mean countless channels were prevented from rising to massive levels via manipulative schemes.
  3. While the internet became more tied to our personalities through social media, companies like Disney, Apple and Microsoft took special notice of personal beliefs in their personalities. In situations such as with Gina Carano, celebrities and famous personalities were shown that stepping outside the approved corporate narrative would result in severe repercussions. These negative impacts often tied into an effort to either gain market share in China or to monetize demographics that had seen less historic buy-in. This served to create pop culture monolithic thinking.

None of the above is good or healthy and I could literally go on for dozens of examples. But to speed things up, let’s just say that Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter has the potential to turn all of this around. In using Twitter to develop his next idea of an “X” application that can be a one-in-all portal, Musk is going after the heart of online communication and economics. He has already suggested that long format video is on the way — that’s a direct competitor to YouTube. He has asked if they should bring back Vine — a direct competitor to China’s awful TicTok app. Already he’s offering verification to literally everyone who pays a small subscription fee and that’s a direct attack on the worldwide intelligentsia.

As you might imagine, there will be a serious attempt to destroy Twitter by those who would be decimated by its change to a free speech and high accuracy online portal. Already, major corporations are suspending advertising in an effort to lower revenues.

It’s no surprise that Musk’s car competitors would begin reacting harshly. However, one thing that I find remarkable is that Disney has yet to remove their advertising with Twitter. Does it signal that Mickey Mouse is weary of stepping into cultural issues. Simultaneously I find it interesting that Nintendo would put their own company into crosshairs. Is this a case of a Japanese powerhouse not fully understanding what is going on when they receive calls from activists?

All of this is to say that the stakes are high with Twitter. It’s high in terms of the United States versus China. It’s high in terms of fans versus entertainment creators. It’s high in terms of who gets an audience and how safe that relationship’s long-term viability can be.

You may have noticed this website has had some issues for the last two months since we leaked major information on some big players in the entertainment industry. Just this past weekend we learned that the site has been under a constant, low-level traffic hit coming out of a couple of IP addresses. Is somebody attempting to knock out the site’s viability? And how many other sites go through the same difficulties? Yet with Twitter doing what they are, we potentially have very little to worry about. We are fully prepared, and hopeful, to begin moving some of our content to a dual release method with Twitter that would give us tremendous audience, reach and sustainability… with almost no danger of being taken out by bad actors. So even just for us, it would seem that Twitter’s changes could be a game changer.

We’ll have more information soon. So will the rest of the world. Let’s see what Elon has up his sleeve as everything will quickly heat up around a certain free bird.

Musk’s plans to add WeChat and YouTube features will easily triple Twitter’s value. While losing sponsors isn’t going to help, they might just come back after a few months in the shakeout. I’m not convinced Twitter will be safe for conservatives. It might just be more neutral and mainstream in a center left approach.

If Musk does a deal with Rumble, that’ll be when it gets REAL interesting.
Google’s monopoly needs to take a big hit as well.
