While progressive stars like Jimmy Kimmel and Mark Ruffalo downplay the chaos erupting across Los Angeles, conservative celebrities in Hollywood are speaking up—and they’re not pulling any punches about what’s come to be known by many as the LA riots.

As the city burns and political leaders scramble for spin control, a growing number of right-leaning actors are calling out the double standards, failed leadership, and media gaslighting surrounding the ongoing violence.

James Woods Unleashes on Gavin Newsom

Veteran actor and firebrand conservative James Woods didn’t mince words when he took to X. Sharing a photo of the riots in full swing, Woods slammed Democrat voters and California’s embattled governor.

“When you vote Democrat, you’re voting for this,” he said above an image of a masked shirtless man atop a burning car waving the Mexican flag.

But he didn’t stop there.

Woods reposted a statement by FBI director Kash Patel who said, “Just so we are clear, this FBI needs no one’s permission to enforce the constitution. My responsibility is to the American people, not political punch lines. LA is under siege by marauding criminals, and we will restore law and order. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you.”

“This is for you, Newsom,” Woods added while sharing the blistering remark. “Now go to the French Laundry and stuff your lying face with caviar while Los Angeles burns YET AGAIN under your feckless leadership. Let the adults handle your chaos… You are such a fraud. If it weren’t for a real leader protecting Californians from you, this whole state would be burning rubble. Resign!”

Woods’ reference to the infamous French Laundry incident (where Newsom was caught dining maskless in violation of his own lockdown mandates) struck a nerve with followers who see the governor’s hypocrisy as emblematic of broader problems in the state.

Rob Schneider Mocks “Mostly Peaceful Democrats”

Comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider shared footage of the riots along with a sarcastic caption that read simply, “Mostly Peaceful Democrats…”

In a separate post, Schneider tore into Newsom directly.

“California has a reckless and feckless Governor,” he said. “Gavin Newsom has tried his very best to ruin the former Golden State with policies that bankrupt the state and make it a crime filled homeless encampment.”

He concluded with a provocative call for legislation.

“New Law… Make it ILLEGAL and a FEDERAL CRIME for Protesters to cover their faces.”

Given the rising reports of masked agitators engaging in looting and destruction, Schneider’s demand is likely to resonate with voters fed up with lawlessness.

Kevin Sorbo Slams Flag Burners

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys star Kevin Sorbo aimed his frustration at the protestors themselves.

“All these illegals protesting, along with the paid protesters, are waving their country of origin flags and burning the American flag,” he said on X. “Pretty stupid if they want to stay in America. If your third world country is so bloody great… why did you leave? Was it to turn America into a third world country?”

Sorbo’s blunt remarks reflect a broader frustration among many Americans who see the protests as less about justice and more about an ideological push to destabilize the country from within.

Dean Cain Mocks LA Mayor’s “Peaceful” Narrative

Even Superman had something to say.

Dean Cain, best known for playing Clark Kent in Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman, responded to LA Mayor Karen Bass after she attempted to frame the aftermath of the riots as a “moment of unity.”

“This morning I’ve been in touch with business leaders and faith leaders about coming together as a city to restore and repair downtown,” Bass said. “This will be a major moment of unity for our city — stay tuned, Los Angeles!”

Cain’s biting reply came shortly after.

“Wait… the peaceful protests caused damage…?” he asked with clear sarcasm. “Thank God for the National Guard, amirite?”

His sarcasm echoed what many feel is the absurdity of calling violent, destructive riots “peaceful protests.”

Final Thought

While mainstream media outlets continue to platform entertainers who excuse or minimize the destruction rocking Los Angeles, conservative celebrities are offering a very different take on the LA riots. Whether their words will cut through the spin remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: people like James Woods, Rob Schneider, Kevin Sorbo, and Dean Cain are not backing down.

Good on them. Some of the few reasonable actors out there.

It’s hilarious to think that Newsom might try to run for President someday.
