You knew it was bound to happen sooner rather than later. The only shocking thing about seeing the maintenance lights on inside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is just how much unused space there is! Given our recent story about how much this attraction needs more queue space, you’d think that Disney would have foreseen the problem and added themed walkways throughout some of the two-story areas that are otherwise just empty. Where dinosaurs once stood, there’s just vast openness that the average rider can’t see due to dimmed ambiance.

Though Cosmic Rewind is easily the most expensive attraction ever built in a Disney Park, perhaps the toll of the pandemic resulted in more cutbacks than just animatronics. Overall, we still have to say the attraction is incredible… there are just some polishing touches that are conspicuously missing.
Hurts a lot knowing this was the Bronto pool and is now an empty room.
