Dean Stockwell, the actor who played Al in Quantum Leap, has passed away at the age of 85. Although he was famous for the late eighties, early nineties TV show, he was also a prolific actor in many movies and series. The actor had experienced a stroke in 2016.

It’s like hitting a 280-yard drive on the golf course. Or like hitting a winner at the track if you’re a gambler. It’s very hard to put a word on it.”k — Dean Stockwell in an interview with Turner Classic Movies
