Hacktivision gave up on China in ’23 once their licenses with NetEase expired and they’ve been falling apart financially ever since. Disney is going to suffer an identical catastrophic loss being actively rejected by the people. Again, this is vindicating because everyone told them pandering to China was a bad idea. I also wonder if this is at least partially because of the tariffs and duties resulting in a nationalistic rejection of American companies in response.
